October 2014: Verifying RFP Requirements Allocation In Seconds Using Proposal Navigator®'s Reverse X

How do you ensure all of your RFP requirements e.g., L, M, SOW, CDRL are correctly allocated to your cross-reference matrix and proposal outline ? Painstakingly hunting them down one at a time..right ? With Proposal Navigator®'s Reverse X-Ref Matrix utility, the answer is "no." In seconds, the Reverse X-Ref Matrix utility generates reports in print-ready or Excel format showing where each RFP requirement is allocated--or not allocated--into your proposal outline. Using the report data, you can quickly determine gaps, if any, and whether requirements are misallocated to the proposal outline. From left to right, the report columns generated from Proposal Navigator®'s database are as follows:

  • Reference name e.g. L, M, SOW, CDRL

  • Reference paragraph ID e.g. "L.2.3.4"

  • Reference paragraph title e.g. "Risk Management"

  • (Excel optional) Reference text e.g. "The offeror must describe..."

  • Proposal Volume ID (indicates "None" if not allocated anywhere)

  • Proposal Volume Partition ID e.g. Main, Appendix

  • Proposal Outline Section ID e.g. "1.2"

  • Proposal Outline Section Title e.g. "Program Management"

Employing these process and tool innovation efficiencies, Reverse X-Ref Matrix and other Proposal Navigator® features add productive work days to your constrained proposal development timelines. Contact us for your capture/proposal support needs or to arrange your Proposal Navigator® system capability demonstration. 2014 pricing is $25,000 annual subscription (unlimited use) per proposal center site.
