May 2015: Proposal Navigator® Supports Recovery of Near No-Bid to Win
May 29, 2015
A while back I got a telephone call on a Thursday afternoon about parachuting into a proposal rescue starting Friday morning (the next day). On Friday morning I found a dire situation: FRFP release any day on a short turnaround ~$100M proposal with no proposal artifacts developed whatsoever, even though the DRFP had been out for three months. After the Friday assessment, I told the capture manager that I would have a bid/no bid recommendation for him on Monday.
On Monday, I recommended we go forward with the bid, based on the streamlining capability of Black Dog Technology's innovative processes and tools to speed the proposal artifact development process. Here's what we accomplished:
Ready for Proposal Kickoff (Typical 1-2 Week Timeline Shortened To <1 Week)
Proposal actual: 3-1/2 work days including initial Proposal Architecture, and Writers’ Guides ready at kickoff
Proposal Development to Pink Team (shortened 1+ weeks)
Proposal actual: Ready for Pink Team in 2 weeks (typically 3+ weeks)
Writers Guides provide consolidated information needed for jump-start on storyboard/ mockups in correct Word file format
Reduces labor of copy/ paste, errors, and rework
This innovative process and Proposal Navigator® tool efficiencies add productive work days to your constrained proposal development timelines.
Contact us for your capture/proposal support needs or to arrange your Proposal Navigator® system capability demonstration. 2015 pricing is $25,000 annual subscription (unlimited use) per proposal center site.
